Individual therapy
A space that's entirely yours.
Whether you're carrying something heavy or simply feeling stuck, individual therapy gives you dedicated time and space to understand yourself better, work through what's hard, and build the life you actually want.
What is individual therapy?
Individual therapy is a one-on-one relationship between you and your therapist — a confidential, judgment-free space where you can say the things you haven't been able to say anywhere else. It's not about being "sick" or broken. It's about getting support, gaining clarity, and making real change.
I offer in person sessions in Trumbull CT and virtual sessions for those living in Connecticut, New York and Floriday. Sessions are 45 minutes, we'll move at your pace, and you'll always have a say in what we work on.
Who I work with
I work with adults navigating a wide range of experiences. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy — many of my clients simply want to feel more like themselves.
What to expect
01
Free consultation
We start with a 15-minute phone or video call — no pressure, no commitment. It's a chance for you to ask questions and get a feel for whether we're a good fit.
02
First session
Your first session is about getting to know each other. I'll ask about what brought you in, what you're hoping for, and a bit about your history. You set the pace.
03
Ongoing work
Initially we will meet weekly as we build trust and rapport. Over time, we'll build on what's working, dig into what isn't, and track the real progress you're making. Bi-weekly, monthly and booster sessions can follow as you wish (yes, that's a Princess Bride reference :)
My approach
I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities — including CBT, somatic work, and trauma-informed care — but I don't follow a rigid script. Every person is different, and your therapy should reflect that. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, curious enough to explore, and supported enough to actually change.
Ready to get started?
Reaching out is the hardest part. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can ask questions and see if we're a good fit — no pressure, no commitment.
